Airport Promotes Recycling in Its Terminals
In an on-going effort to minimize waste, Mineta San José International Airport has joined forces with the City of San José Environmental Services Division's Recycle @ Work Program.

Airport Hosts Two Workshops to Assist Business Owners in ACDBE Certification
To assist business owners in the ACDBE certification process, the Airport partnered with the Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) to provide two workshops. The ACDBE program provides a vehicle for increasing participation by certain businesses deemed by Federal regulations to be “disadvantaged.”

Airport Chaplains Honored at City Council Meeting
On February 14, 2006, the Interfaith Chaplaincy, Inc. was honored by the San José City Council with a City Commendation for their over 10 years and 5,000 hours of volunteer service at Mineta San José International Airport.
